Artisanal manufacturing involves a series of complex processes. Up to 20 processing steps are requested to the purpose, one after the other, for an overall period of over 30 days. By using the acetate of cellulose to make our combs, we demonstrate once again that we love our planet and we strive to be sustainable. In fact, cellulose acetate is a modified natural biopolymer coming from plants. To obtain cellulose acetate we start from the selection of renewable sources, such as certain varieties of trees and cotton waste. From these sources the purest part of the cellulose is extracted and transformed into cellulose acetate powder.
