In fact, cellulose acetate is a modified natural biopolymer coming from plants. To obtain cellulose acetate we start from the selection of renewable sources, such as certain varieties of trees and cotton waste. From these sources the purest part of the cellulose is extracted and transformed into cellulose acetate powder.
