Packaging

The cosmetics industry is highly polluting, due to the large amount of plastic packaging it produces. The vast majority of which is non-recyclable.
From the beginning it has been clear to us that, as a brand, it is in our hands to do something to fight against plastic pollution of our oceans. Our goal is to generate as little waste as possible. This means making choices about our packaging that have not always been the easiest or the cheapest.
We avoid single-use plastics in our products at all costs, and always use recycled materials for all elements of packaging, from boxes to bottles. Nothing we create will cause additional waste for the planet. Upcycling old materials to ensure everything we use has already been used before.

Our product paper boxes

The paper boxes of our solid products are made from a special paper containing 15% organic corn waste and 40% recycled fibres, as well as FSC® certified paper. They are 100% recyclable and biodegradable.

Crush is an environmentally friendly range of papers, manufactured by replacing up to 15% of the virgin tree pulp by waste from organic by-products of citrus, grapes, cherries, olives, almonds, and in our case, corn.

These natural raw materials - which otherwise would be discarded - are saved from the collectors and used to make these distinctive and upcycled papers. Where creative design and sustainability come together, using an eco-friendly manufacturing process that is far more advanced than standard recycling processes. In this way, the use of organic waste relieves pressure on forest resources.

Our paper is FSC™ certified, is produced with EKOenergy, is GMO-free, contains 40% post-consumer recycled waste paper and results in a 20% reduction in carbon footprint compared to standard paper production by using by-products and 100% green energy. Both the production process and the paper itself are protected by European patent.

Minimal waste philosophy

From the beginning we have adopted a minimum waste philosophy that drives our every decision. Our packaging is designed with intention: to have as little impact on the planet as possible.

Our products come in FSC-certified paper and cardboard packaging made from post-consumer recycled and upcycled materials. They are 100% recyclable and biodegradable.

We know that the road to sustainability involves making choices that are not always the most economical for a business, such as opting for more expensive upcycled materials rather than virgin. However, for us, it makes sense to choose the most sustainable alternatives, even if they come at a higher cost. We don't see it any other way.
